Ideate Community Update #9
Build Updates
We’re almost complete and ready to launch some new developments. In the coming weeks, our mood board studio feature will be entering beta. This feature provides designers with an easy way to create presentation ready creative concepts in minutes. A couple weeks ago, I wrote an article entitled, Endless Scrolling, Broken Links, and Wasted Hours: The Creative Concepting Trap, that summarizes a lot of the challenges associated with this initial step in the design process and how Mood Board Studio will streamline this work.
New Hire
Big news — we just made a huge addition to the Ideate team! We recently hired an additional software engineer, and it’s already making a massive difference. With more hands on deck, we’re cranking up the speed at which we can ship updates, squash bugs, and build out new features. As we get closer to our public launch this fall, this extra momentum is exactly what we need to keep leveling up the product and making Ideate even better for creative teams. We’re moving faster than ever — and we’re just getting started.
Bronze Valley VentureLab Demo Day (Gener8tor gBeta)
It was such an amazing experience to be a part of Bronze Valley Venture Lab’s 3rd cohort. After weeks of leaning alongside some other great founders, it was great to finally present in front of investors, founders, and community members. Check out this article in the Delaware Business Times that gives a little more insight into the experience. Our team looks forward to hopefully participating in the brand new Bronze Valley Investment Accelerator in Delaware this August.
Phorum Technology Conference
We’re thrilled to share that Ideate has been selected as one of just five emerging technology companies to present at the prestigious Phorum Technology Conference this Tuesday. This year’s conference theme, “The Enterprise Evolution: AI, Efficiency, and Workforce 4.0,” spotlights how cutting-edge technologies are transforming industries — and we’re proud that Ideate’s vision for the future of design operations is part of that conversation. We’ll be showcasing how Ideate empowers creative teams to automate time-consuming operational design tasks, unlocking massive gains in productivity and creative impact. Plus, by participating in the Demo Pit competition, we’re competing for a spot in the Mid-Atlantic Capital Conference, one of the region’s premier showcases for high-growth companies. We were an alternate last year and are looking forward to making the leap and participating this year!
What’s Next?
We’re going to continue to develop our tool to get it in to the hand of designers ASAP. We are continuing our fundraising outreach, as well as progressing through the accelerator interview selection process.
How Can You Be of Help?
We’re looking to connect with designers, art directors, creative directors, and studio owners interested in testing our feedback translator.
Funding Sources : We’re seeking more intros to get the ball rolling on our pre seed round. If you know someone we should talk to, please share this substack or connect us!
Thank you for joining us in our journey to create a world where designers can just design.
